Lesson 1,
Topic 1
In Progress
Procedure
03/07/2022
Interfacing of OLED
Components required:
- Knewton board – 1
- Arduino Nano – 1
- Arduino Nano Cable – 1
- OLED display – 1
- Power Bank-1
- USB to DC jack-1
Circuit Diagram:
Plug the OLED display module on the Board as shown in image.
Arduino Code:
- Scan the QR1 to open the code. Copy the code and paste it in your Arduino IDE.
- Once you paste the code in Arduino IDE.
- To interface an OLED with Arduino, we’ll have to install a few libraries
- Scan the QR 2 to download the libraries required.
- Once you have downloaded the files follow the procedure below.
- Go to the TOOLS option, select Include libraries. You’ll find an option as “Add zip Library”. Here you’ll be asked to select the libraries which you have downloaded. Select one of the zip library.
- Once you select the zip library. Click on open. Arduino IDE will install the library and will show you the notification.
- Once the zip file is perfectly installed, proceed with the same procedure for other libraries.
- Once all the libraries are properly installed, Compile the code.
- Once the code is compiled, upload it in the Arduino Nano.

Once the code is uploaded, you can see different patterns are created on the OLED display.
If you don’t see the patterns, Upload the code once again or see to it if the OLED is connected loose with the board.
