CONDUCTIVE PATH

 

The conductive path provides a route through which current flows. This route begins at the voltage source, travels through the load, and then returns to the voltage source. This path must form a loop from the negative side of the voltage source to the positive side of the voltage source.

Open & Closed Circuit

 

All circuits need to have three basic elements.  These elements are a voltage source, conductive path and a load.

The voltage source, such as a battery, is needed in order to cause the current to flow through the circuit.  In addition, there needs to be a conductive path that provides a route for the electricity to flow.  Finally, a proper circuit needs a load that consumes the power.  The load in the above circuit is the light bulb.

CONDUCTIVE PATH IN PRINTED CORCUIT BOARD

 

A printed circuit board (PCB) mechanically supports and electrically connects electronic components using conductive paths. These are called as “Tracks”.

A Track is conductive path that is used to connect 2 points in the PCB. 

a. In image first, the path between IC1 and R1 is conductive path( Tracks)

b. In image second, path between IC1 and IC2 is conductive path(Tracks)
