Different types of switches
The switches are classified into two types:
-
Mechanical Switches
-
Electrical Switches
Mechanical switches are switches which require physical contact or manual control with the switch and Electrical switches does not require any physical contact, they are either completely on or completely off.
Mechanical and electrical switches are also classified into various types like:
-
Single Pole Single throw Mechanical switches.
-
Double Pole Double throw Mechanical switches.
-
Momentary control mechanical switches.
-
ONE-WAY (SINGLE-POLE) ELECTRICAL SWITCH.
-
TWO-WAY (DOUBLE-POLE)ELECTRICAL SWITCH. …
-
DO NOT DISTURB SWITCH. …
-
And Many more…..
Here, we will be learning some of the momentary control switches:
-
Push button
-
Toggle Switches
-
Slide Switches
-
Rotatory Switches
