Simulation

Now, click to stat simulation button to test the circuit.

Working

So,both the circuit will work opposite to each other. When it’s the day time in NPN transistor then the LED is not glowing and in the dark the LED is glowing.

Whereas, when it’s day time in PNP transistor the LED glows and in Dark it does not Glow.

Simulation

Click on the Start simulation button and then click on the LDR with NPN transistor or PNP transistor, you will see one slider(if you will move that slider towards dark hole then that is Dark and towards the bright hole it is day).

So, when you will move the slider towards dark the LED will glow in NPN transistor and Led will not glow in PNP transistor. Similarly, if you move the slider towards light then LED will glow in PNP transistor and LED will not glow in NPN transistor.
